"The ultimate of being successful is the luxury of giving yourself the time to do what you want to do."I vowed to myself that I'd continue on writing Left Unsaid after my 32nd birthday. That was 7 days ago and I haven't even opened the file.
~ Leontyne Price
Now that I'm self-employed, I seem to have less time on my hands, but at the same time, more freedom to stay up late, sleep in, work, write, and do it all over again.
I can work remotely from anywhere I want. I can choose to work, I can choose to write.
I have the luxury of doing both, so why aren't I?
It would be normal to say that trying to focus on building my business would take away brain power/creativity/etc from writing - understandable, but really, just an excuse.
The recent Writer's Digest Writing Basics magazine has an article called, "How to write your book in 15 minutes a day." Hmmm... I can do that, 15 minutes a day.
Can you?
