In the 1999 made for TV Movie "Tuesdays with Morrie" based on Mitch Albom's book of the same title - the narrator, talking of his old dying processor Morrie Schwartz as to knowing he was dying - Morrie had clarity and Mitch wanted that type of clarity.
As writers, we want clarity to help us sift through our thoughts and get down to what it is that we really want to say.
If we aren't dying and we don't know anyone who is dying, where can we get that clarity from?
