Writing Characters

A believable character that the reader cares about can make or break a story.

It helps to know someone that is like the character we are writing. We can picture that "someone" doing and saying those things that the character is doing. I found it helpful to combine various 'characteristics' of various people I know to make my character even that more 'out there'. Thus, (hopefully) often making he/she more dynamic.
