I'll admit; I'm easily distracted. Maybe I have ADD.
While reading or writing, life is begging for my attention. The phone, the cat, the Internet, the fridge, the comfy bed calling for a nap.
How anyone pens a book in a short amount of time baffles me. I don't have a wife or kids to 'blame' on my lack of book writing.

In todays world of electronics I think the best thing to do is zone out by closing email, turning off the phone, closing ALL social media pages and turning off the lights so it appears no one is home! Just then maybe your brain will allow you to write some words on a page.
